Rebecca was very busy last month! Besides all this, she was preparing for a presentation that she is giving this week.
This month we’ve been more than blessed to have a visiting Physiotherapist from Congo who has been able to work with our children at the house of hope and some children from our village.
What made last month exciting was meeting Nasoro a small boy with spina bifida…..
He has paralysis and for longest time he was crawling because he couldn’t access a wheelchair. But after visiting our center we linked his mom with wheelchair providers and he was able to get one. He will join our kindergarten next year too after many years of being denied education. We also hosted five families of children with both spina bifida and hydrocephalus and we gave parents training on care and management of their children’s conditions.
