Rebecca has been busy since January. Her update is below. Make sure to scroll all the way through, since it has been broken into two sections, with accompanying pictures.

Since the end of January I have managed to accompany a group of eight parents who have children with spina bifida and hydrocephalus….. we had mini seminars on how they can take care of their children and after a successful training we gave them a half a day treat at the beach…. where we had session on therapy and at the same time parents had a relaxing time to share their success.

The first picture is of Alaina, she has Hydrocephalus and cerebral palsy. Since her mom became ill she’s under our care. Last Saturday we did a follow up at her vocational training school where she is studying to be a tailor. Second picture is of Mama Robert and Robert. They are staying at the house of hope since November last year as they came to search for medical treatment. We are glad because he received treatment for both spina bifida and hydrocephalus and right now he is recovering at the house of hope as he awaits to go back home. The third picture was taken during a social event ‘birthday’ where Loveness, a child with spina bifida and hydrocephalus, turned one. 17091410_10155155487997474_726680370_o
